POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our welcoming Faubourg Giffard retirement home, located just minutes from downtown Quebec City, is seeking a caring nursing assistant committed to the health and well-being of its residents. Permanent part-time daytime position, two days a week Week 1: Monday and Saturday Week 2: Friday and Sunday Possibility of additional hours depending on needs and availability :::
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmieres auxiliaires du Quebec (OIIAQ) Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents Respond to all emergency situations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing Ease in the use of computer tools Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Member of the OIIAQ CPR up to date
