PSW/Nurse's Aide - Permanent Part-time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Have Knowledge and understanding of the role of the PSW in providing competent and respectful care while meeting the physical and emotional needs of each Sister/Resident Have working knowledge of dementia care and behaviours Physically and mentally capable of safely providing care to others Willing to accompany Sisters/Residents to appointments Preference will be given to candidates with positive attitude, pleasant personality, dignified appearance and behaviour, good work habits and work well in team setting. Successful candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as well as negative TB testing or cleared outcomes

required.

A Vulnerable Sector Check will be

required.

EDUCATION:

Current PSW Certificate

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Long Term Care Facility, Retirement Home or equivalent. Providing care to those with dementia behaviours The St. Joseph's Motherhouse is an inclusive employer.
