SafeHouse Science Inc. - Kano Health & Wellness (St. Albert, Alberta)
SafeHouse Science Inc. is strengthening its national clinical model and expanding veteran-centered services across Canada. As part of this growth, we are recruiting a
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
to join the team at Kano Health & Wellness - one of SafeHouse's foundational clinics serving veterans, first responders, and civilian patients requiring trauma-informed, complex-care support.
This role is designed for an NP who wants to do more than deliver clinical care. You will help shape how the NP position supports and influences SafeHouse's evolving interdisciplinary model of care. You'll work within a trauma-informed, veteran-focused environment built on collaboration, clarity, and coordinated clinical pathways.
If you want to practice at full scope while helping build a system that restores dignity and improves access for those who have served, this is a meaningful opportunity.
About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner with SafeHouse/Kano, you will operate as an autonomous medical provider and collaborate daily with physicians, social workers, RN case managers, mental and physical health clinicians, and operational leaders. You will provide care to veterans, first responders, and civilians navigating complex medical, psychological, or trauma-related conditions, ensuring each patient experiences continuity and clarity at every step of the SafeHouse care pathway.
You'll be supported by structured clinical workflows, strong operational leadership, and a care environment designed so veterans experience continuity and clarity at every step.
You are stepping into a model that is actively expanding, both in volume and in sophistication, and your clinical insight will directly influence how SafeHouse continues to integrate NPs within its broader care ecosystem.
