Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner license in Ontario Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting preferred Experience in case management, patient care, medication administration, home care, hospital settings, dementia care, or medical office is preferred Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)

Duties

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses and injuries, and managing chronic conditions Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to medication therapy Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
