Unique medical practice requires a unique individual to join our small team . Kindness and patience are an absolute must . Currently seeking a professional , honest and well groomed Nurse Practioner to join our busy travel + family practice clinic . Nurse Practitioner locum opportunity for students available as well . At this time we are not hiring any RPN , LPN or any casual nurse .

We are seeking an individual to be part of our care team to deliver high quality and efficient medical care . We provide the highest level of primary care to patients .

Our travel clinic serves all travellers from the KW region and we provide pre travel counselling , vaccination planning and follow up booster vaccinations . Care duties will include :

- well baby visits - checking vitals - height , weight & measurements and newborn immunisations ( familiarity working in family practice )

- well women checks - Pap screening , STI testing , FIT testing

- Administering of B12 injections and other medications

- Ear syringing when needed

Knowledge of EMR software , Telus PS suite Solutions preferred.

Nursing care with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the family practice medical field preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent work ethic , an ability to multi-task and a passion for caring and helping patients . This position requires outstanding organizational skills , ability to work both independently and as a team member in a fast paced environment , exceptional customer service skills , strong attention to detail and clear communication skills .

Office duties may include booking appointments , answering phones / emails , registering patients , completing medical requisitions , arranging referrals and investigations , tracking down results , processing payments , etc

Ability to work Wed and Friday mornings and selected weekdays 4-8pm and occasional weekends ( atleast 1 per month ) 9.30am- 11.30am hours will be required. Additionally be able to cover full time hours for 2 -4 week periods for July / August / December.

Pay: $60.00-$105.00 per hour

Experience:

Electronic Medical Records / Telus Health / PS Suite EMR: 1 year (preferred) working as a Nurse Practioner in Ontario Family Practice : 1 year (required)
