We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to support a growing primary care clinic during an
initial 9-month launch phase starting March 2026
. This position is well-suited for an NP looking for flexible hours while practicing within a defined, low-complexity primary care scope. There is potential for
increased hours or transition into a permanent role
.
Scope of Practice
Responsibilities include providing focused primary healthcare services such as:
Primary care assessments and follow-ups
Preventative health screening and wellness care
Management of common acute conditions
Monitoring of stable chronic conditions
Minor in-clinic procedures
Health education and patient counseling
Ordering and reviewing routine diagnostic tests
Making specialist referrals when indicated
Work Environment
EMR-supported documentation
Access to clinical consultation and oversight
Emphasis on efficient, high-quality care
Low volume private practice
Qualifications
Registered Nurse Practitioner in good standing within the College of Ontario
Licensed to practice in Ontario
Comfortable practicing independently within defined guidelines
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary care experience preferred but not mandatory

Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 for the 9 month contract
