About the role:
Now we are looking for a caring and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality ADHD services to our patients in Ontario, Canada. The NP is responsible for the assessment, diagnoses, treatments, referrals, management, interventions, and prescribing medications.
As a member, You will be given the opportunity to work closely with our clinical operations teams in order to determine the best care for our patients. This is a remote position and work will be conducted virtually. Currently, only part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient and formulate a diagnosis online
Develop, implement and monitor a plan of care
Manage your patient's medication regimens you prescribe
Provide appropriate counseling and therapies for the patient
Track patient progress and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding plans of care and treatment
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
Qualifications:
Registered as a Registered Nurse Extended Class (Nurse Practitioner) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
NP-PHC or NP-Adult is required with extensive mental health experience preferred
Able to prescribe controlled substances as authorized by CNO
Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, and membership with the Registered Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario is recommended.
Must have 3-5 years or demonstrated expertise in working with clients with ADHD issues.
Ability to work flexible hours is a requirement.
Proficiency with word processing and computer skills; comfortable adapting to new software and workflow updates
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
