Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable
Nurse Practitioner
with expertise--or a strong interest--in
optimal wellness, hormone health, gut health, and weight management
. This role is ideal for a provider who values
patient-centered care
and wants to help individuals achieve
true optimal health and wellness
. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in primary care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct
comprehensive patient assessments
, including medical history, private consultations, and laboratory testing.
Provide
personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
for hormone balance, weight management, gut health, and overall health optimization.
Diagnose and treat
.
Prescribe medications, supplements, and other appropriate treatments based on individual patient needs.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Stay up to date with
emerging research and best practices
in hormone health, functional medicine, weight management and longevity.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide
comprehensive, patient-centered care
.
Qualifications & Skills:
Nurse Practitioners must have completed a
Master of Nursing program
with a Nurse Practitioner component.
Must be
eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner
with the
College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
and maintain active registration.
Ability to
practice in British Columbia
is an asset.
Previous experience in a primary care setting would be preferred.
Certification or specialized training
in hormone health, gut health, weight management, or functional medicine is preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate).
Strong
clinical skills and experience
in hormone and weight management.
Must be able to multitask.
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
with a patient-first approach.
Ability to
work independently and collaboratively
in a team environment.
Passion for
patient education and empowerment
.
An eagerness to grow and expand their knowledge.
A motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
Understanding of
medical aesthetics (lasers, injectables, etc.)
is an asset but not required.

Pay scale will be based on experience.

Pay: $100.00-$140.00 per hour
