Provide comprehensive patient care within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, and health promotion.
Deliver healthcare services in clinical, community, institutional, or remote settings, in alignment with Client requirements.
Support acute and chronic disease management, preventive health initiatives, and patient/family education.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative teams to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with the
Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
and Client policies.
Adapt service delivery models to meet Client needs, including in-person, hybrid (initial in-person with virtual follow-ups), or remote care, when authorized.
Actively participate in multidisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care across service settings.
Ensure adherence to all relevant Ontario healthcare legislation and standards, including
AODA, OHSA, and FIPPA
.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current registration in good standing as a
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
with the
College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
.
Minimum
2 years of clinical NP experience
in primary care, hospital, community health, or specialty practice.
Proven ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration within diverse healthcare environments.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and decision-making skills.
Flexibility to work across multiple Ontario regions, with willingness to travel or relocate based on Client assignments.

All Nurse Practitioners must successfully complete mandatory security screening prior to assignment. This may include:
Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
(as required by Client setting)
Credit Check
(if required by Client)
Driver's Record Check / Out-of-Country checks
(if travel is required)
