Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed to practice in Quebec to join our growing virtual care team. The NP will be responsible for conducting virtual consultations, assessing patient needs, prescribing medications, and providing ongoing support through secure chat and appointment-based interactions.

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours -- ideally 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. (Weekend availibility welcomed)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual consultations to assess client health concerns and develop appropriate treatment plans. Communicate with clients through secure chat to answer medical questions, provide guidance, and offer follow-up support. Manage virtual appointments and ensure timely responses to client inquiries. Prescribe medications in accordance with the Ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec (OIIQ) guidelines and the Pharmacy Act. Follow telehealth best practices and comply with the College des medecins du Quebec (CMQ) standards for remote care. Maintain accurate, compliant medical records in line with Law 25 regarding the protection of personal information in the private sector. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Stay up to date on telemedicine regulations and professional practice standards in Quebec (and Ontario, if applicable).
Requirements

Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed and authorized to prescribe in Quebec; in good standing with the OIIQ. Dual licensing in Ontario is considered a strong asset. Experience in telehealth or virtual care is an advantage. Solid understanding of healthcare laws and remote prescribing standards in Quebec and Ontario. Excellent communication skills in French and English (oral and written). Comfortable using telehealth tools and electronic medical records (EMRs). Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to patient-centered care.
