Interior Health is looking for a permanent part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cranbrook, B.C.
The Ktunaxa Regional Health Centre is home to the Ktunaxa Nation Health Clinic, previously located in the Ktunaxa Nation Council Government Building, and connects people to a wide range of services offered through the Ktunaxa Nation Council and partners such as Interior Health.
Guided by a "circle of care" model, the centre brings together a diverse team of health professionals to support clients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This team includes Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Outreach Licensed Practical Nurses, Foot Care Nurses, Counsellors, Mental Health and Addictions Support Workers, Social Workers, and Physiotherapists. Clients also benefit from access to visiting specialists, including an Internal Medicine Physician and a Psychiatrist.
In addition to services at the centre, health professionals provide outreach to East Kootenay communities, helping individuals and families navigate the health system and connect with the supports they need.
The Ktunaxa Regional Health Centre was made possible through the support of many partners, including the First Nations Health Authority, Interior Health, East Kootenay Primary Care Network, Indigenous Services Canada, Elk Valley Resources (formerly Teck Coal), Canfor, and other community collaborators.
