Job Description

Job title: Nurse Practitioner | Acute Care/

Rehabilitative Care



Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia

Key Responsibilities



Function as the primary healthcare provider for patients receiving transitional care.

Independently diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures.

Provide on-site clinical leadership, including supervision of staff during shifts.

Collaborate closely with restorative health professionals, allied health staff, and nursing teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications



Education

: Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Licensing

: Eligibility for licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.

Experience

: Minimum 2-3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience (acute care or rehabilitative care preferred, but not required).

Work Style

: Comfortable in a hands-on role (not virtual-only).

Exclusions

: Pediatric NP backgrounds cannot be considered due to licensing restrictions.

Required Skill Sets:



Clinical autonomy in advanced practice nursing.

Leadership and supervisory abilities.

Collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
