Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership and seniors' care?



Dundas Manor is seeking a dynamic Nurse Leader to join our dedicated team. This permanent full-time position offers the unique opportunity to transition into the Director of Care role upon the planned retirement of the incumbent.



In addition, you will support day to day operations during the construction and opening of our new home over the next 12 months. At Dundas Manor we believe in the power of community, compassion, and excellence in care.

As we prepare for the upcoming opening of our new state of the art & technically advanced LTC home, we are seeking a Registered Nurse leader with change management experience to join our exceptional team in a meaningful Nurse Leader role--with the opportunity to step into the Director of Care position in the future.





Key Responsibilities:


Provide clinical and operational leadership to nursing staff within our long-term care facility. Oversight of the Nursing and Personal Care budget including staffing, equipment and supplies. Ensure high-quality, safe, resident care and compliance with Ontario's long-term care standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to promote resident-centered care. Work directly with community partners and contracted service providers including review and oversight of any contracts related to this Support strategic planning, accreditation and quality improvement initiatives. Work alongside the current Director of Care to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

Qualifications:


Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or seniors' health. In-depth understanding of Ontario's Fixing Long-Term Care Act, related regulations, and best practices in elder care. Strong communication, interpersonal, change management and team-building skills. Additional certification and education in long-term care or gerontology is considered a desirable asset.
