We\'re united by a shared commitment to excellent and equitable health care..Position OverviewUnder the general supervision of the CLINICAL NURSING DIRECTOR, OR THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, NURSING EDUCATION, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR is responsible for: acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcome; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital; and performing other related duties as required/assigned.Experience

• Minimum two (2) years recent acute medicine nursing experience required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing required.
• Advanced Assessment Course required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

NOTE: Successful completion of the BLS Instructor Certificate will be obtained at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer requiredQualifications and Skills

• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
• Demonstrated ability in communicating with and teaching adults required.
