Tasks

Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments Make beds and maintain patients' rooms Maintain inventory of supplies Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher Collect specimens Administer first aid in emergency situations Schedule and confirm appointments Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies Log patient samples and prepare them for testing Collect and record data Greet customers Record vital signs Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition Take vital signs Assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments
