ResponsibilitiesTasks

Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments Maintain inventory of supplies Answer call signals to determine patients' needs Collect specimens Administer first aid in emergency situations Interview patients Take vital signs Schedule and confirm appointments Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team Provide nursing care
