Facility: Community Health
: The Immunizing Nurse functions within a team of Public Health Practitioners focused on disease prevention through immunization, across the region. The primary function of this position is to work with Public Health Nurses to provide specific immunization programs to clients of Public Health Services.
Required Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) or Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Basic Life Support and Level C
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Effective and consistent application of the nursing process
Ability to perform the functions of the position, after unit orientation and training for certifiable skills
Effective problem solving skills
This is a regional position currently based out of Meadow Lake, some travel may be required.
This is a temporary position with a possibility of extension.

Expected Start Date: October 11, 2022
Expected Up To Date: December 9, 2022
FTE: 1.00
Hours of Work: In a 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
