Your Opportunity:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II is responsible to prepare, administer and measure radioisotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic and tracer studies utilizing radioisotope equipment. Ensures efficient and optimal analyses of Nuclear Cardiology imaging procedures are produced.

Description:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) II you will be responsible for coordinating the day- to-day operations of a nuclear medicine area or performing specialized nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will provide and perform the highest quality service possible, to the clients of Diagnostic Imaging Services during Nuclear Medicine including SPECT/CT examinations. This is done in an effective, efficient and safe manner.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Additional Required Qualifications:

As required. Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of CAMRT Level CT Imaging 2 and CT Imaging 3 or CT Imaging Certificate (preferred), Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine, Minimum of 1 years\' experience in Nuclear Cardiology imaging procedures including MUGA, Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, and Myocardial Viability.
