As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be working at the University of Alberta Hospital in both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT meeting the needs for In-patients, Emergency Department patients, and out-patients for both Adults and Pediatrics. Both the Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments deliver high quality imaging including diagnostic CT imaging preformed with NM and PET. Description:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. As a NMT I, you will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices.
