We are now hiring for a Quality Control Labourer to join our team for the 2023 Construction Season. This position will require travel to various jobsites in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories to ensure the high quality work that our customers are accustomed to.

Key Responsibilities

• Once trained, work independently with minimal supervision
• Complete materials sampling and testing at a standard that will satisfy contract requirements and will ensure proper quality control
• Onsite document control
• Test road construction materials such as asphalt concrete pavement and aggregates
• Ensure you are in compliance with testing standards
• Lab set-up and tear down

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Must have a valid class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Prior experience working within a paving or construction company is an asset.

Working Conditions

• Out of town travel is required and may consist of remote locations. Accommodations and Live out Allowance are provided when working out of town.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must comply with the company\xe2\x80\x99s drug, alcohol, and fitness testing.
• Willing to work overtime, as required.
• Willing to work nightshift, as required
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
