This job would be great for someone who enjoys connecting with other community members, is handy with tools, and is interested in helping community members reduce energy usage and increase comfort in their homes.Job duties include: Participate in a multi-day training course Coordinate home visits with program participants Conduct a home energy assessment using a downloadable app Install new energy-efficient products (e.g., LED light bulbs, shower heads, faucet aerators, power bars, hot water tank insulation wrap, etc.) Manage inventory of products shipped into the community Share knowledge with participants on how they can save energy to reduce their energy costs and increase the comfort of their homes Remove old products for disposal and recycling Attend weekly virtual check-in meetings with the Program Manager (based in Saskatoon) Other duties as requiredQualifications: Drivers License with transportation within the local community, and with neighbouring communities High School diploma or GED is an asset A strong interest in energy conservation is an asset Competency with using applications on a smart phone device Problem-solving skills Organized and adaptable to new situations and projects A friendly and professional manner with a positive attitude Detail-oriented, punctual, conscientious, reliable, and able to work independentlyPlease note, we are a vaccinated workplace, vaccinations are mandatory subject to provincial human rights clauses.Job Types: Part-time, Casual
