Job Description


Available to start ASAP- Great Compensation Mara Home and Health Services is currently looking to provide exciting travel nursing assignments in remote, semi-remote and rural communities in Alberta! We will offer higher than average wages and travel and housing expenses are fully paid for. The successful candidate will provide high-quality community health relief support and exceptional nursing care to clients residing in the Alberta Indigenous Communities. The experienced Northern Nurse must adhere to the policies and procedures under the direction of the Government of Alberta. Eligible applicants must have the following Certifications; -N95 mask fitted -CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, WHMIS, ITLS (International Trauma Life Support), etc. (registration into courses are acceptable before start date of employment)

  • Member in good standing with the CARNA/CLPNA
  • Apply the nursing process utilizing the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counselling, and health teaching according to the established care plan. The interdisciplinary team will ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice.
  • Recent Criminal Record Check or willingness to provide
  • Strong assessment skills and proven ability to effectively communicate required along with exceptional interpersonal skills, and an ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format

Pay: Contract rate of $50 - $80 per hour (Rates based on experience) plus Daily living expenses allowance Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week Salary: $50.00-$80.00 per hour Benefits:
