We are currently hiring a

Non-Working Foreman

experienced with concrete forming and balcony repairs. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and benefits based on knowledge and experience.

Reporting to the site Project Manager, the Non-Working Foreman oversees and drives the day-to-day operations of our sites. Responsible for supervising up to 8 crew members, this role is best suited to construction leaders with an in-depth knowledge of balcony restoration and repair methods and a passion for health and safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of crew (anywhere from 2-8 staff); Mentor and develop construction, concrete & restoration skills of crew members; Hands-on work to be completed only for purposes of mentoring/training crew members; Job mobilization/demobilization; Ensure site and crew safety at all times by demonstrating and enforcing health and safety legislation, as well as Company policies; Complete daily and weekly site safety documentation, ensuring timely return of paperwork to the office; Monitor work quality and production per the job's scope and specifications. Complete onsite time recording for crew members using time clock app; Daily interaction with Project Manager to communicate project progress, required equipment, manpower needs, job scope changes, or any other issues that arise on the job site; Safeguard from theft and damage all Company-provided gear, tools, equipment, and materials; Operate a company vehicle.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of construction foreman experience, with specific experience supervising concrete and balcony repairs on multi-unit residential and commercial buildings. Proven experience with mobilizing and executing concrete, balcony repair, and concrete repair projects to be able to effectively direct and supervise your crew and the work on the site. Proven experience operating and installing a swing stage is required. Valid G license with a clear driving abstract required to operate a company vehicle. Current Basics of Supervising training, or willing to obtain. Suspended Access Equipment Users and Installers training, or willing to obtain. Elevated Work Platform training, or willing to obtain. Valid Working at Heights certification, WHMIS, H&S in 5 Steps (Supervisor) is required. Knowledge of and ability to apply OHSA standards for construction. Ability to lift 50lbs safely. Ability to travel for work (out of town stays when required). Familiarity with Quickbooks Workforce, or other online time tracking software. Comfortable with working at heights.

Pay Rate

: Starting at $38.00+ hourly. Wages are determined based on qualifications and experience. Eligibility for benefits and GRSP Match after successful completion of a probationary period.
