Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated
Non-Ticketed Machinist
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC and portable machining equipment, ensuring high-quality output and safe work practices. This position is ideal for an individual with machining experience who is looking to build on their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain CNC machines (all Quick Mills).
Operate and maintain portable machines.
Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate processing.
Take precise measurements for machined parts.
Plan and execute the proper sequence of tasks to complete assigned work.
Monitor production and adjust feed and other settings as necessary.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Demonstrate working knowledge of power tools.

Qualifications and Skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in math.
Basic computer skills.
Education & Experience
High school diploma (Grade 12) required.
Experience operating CNC machines.
Working knowledge of safety protocols.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or GibbsCAM preferred.
Completion of a basic or short machining course from NAIT is an asset.
