We have expanded into PEI. Wheels for the Wise assist Veterans to get to and from medical appointments in the Atlantic, such as doctors appointments, physio, dentist, day surgeries, massage and many others. First company of its kind in the Atlantic we are ever growing to serve the needs of our clients. This is an amazing opportunity for someone semi-retired or wishes to help Veterans in your area.
We are currently looking for a driver/support worker in PEI.
What we are looking for: Veteran / Retired RCMP preferred but not necessary Position is part-time / Casual 5 to 20hrs a week which depends mostly on employees request MUST have clean drivers abstract MUST pass vulnerable sector check MUST be able to temporarily support someone\'s weight Mileage Paid when utilizing personal vehicle which is required First Aid is considered an asset but not necessary Polite and Caring Demeanour Smartphone required Experience with individuals with PTSD is an asset More info see. www.wheelsforthewise.com Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8 per week Salary: $17.00 per hour Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- On call
- Are you a Veteran or do you volunteer at your local Legion?
- Are you ok with utilizing your personal vehicle for additional compensation, to do this job AND have a clean drivers abstract / criminal report?
- driving: 10 years (required)
