Nonbiri Cafe is a Japanese-inspired cafe focused on creating a warm, relaxing space for our guests. "Nonbiri" means to take it slow--and we carry that feeling into every detail, from our handcrafted drinks to our carefully curated desserts and pastries.

About the Role

As a Barista at Nonbiri Cafe, you'll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. From preparing high-quality coffee and drinks to serving pastries and providing excellent customer service, you'll help ensure every guest has a positive experience. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a team, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities

Provide warm, professional customer service Prepare and serve espresso-based and brewed coffee drinks to a high standard Serve sandwiches and pastries according to food safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar and prep area Assist with inventory and restocking supplies as needed Follow food safety and hygiene procedures

What We're Looking For

Previous barista experience (specialty coffee experience an asset but not required) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good time management and attention to detail Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, or holidays when needed
