Job description:

Conduct various non-destructive inspection and cleaning procedures on aircraft engine parts including crankshafts, crankcases, gears and connecting rods.

Responsibilities:

Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) Magnetic Particle Inspection (LPI) Calibration of tools Maintenance and operation of relevant tools including Splitter 2X Penetrant Waste Water Filtration System Cleaning and sorting of parts inspected Completion and observance of relevant certifications with the support of Aerotec Complete and maintain inspection reports
Skills Required:

Current level 2 NDT certified Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) certifications preferred. We are an American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) qualified shop, working to ASTM standards E1444/E1444M-25 and E1417/E1417M-21 literacy and numeracy proficiency Detail oriented Ability to work independently and with team members when required
Working Conditions:

Inspection and reporting in an industrial facility All tools and required personal protective equipment provided Required to work at Aerotec's facility in Beaverbank, NS during usual business hours (8am - 5pm) unless stated/requested otherwise
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
