Job Overview:



GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Nitrogen Operator Level 2. This is a full-time position suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety.

Responsibilities:



Safely fuel tractor as per Standard Operations Manual. Couple and uncouple tractor and unit. Properly chain up tractor and trailer unassisted. Travel safely to and from well sites while operating a company vehicle. Assist with spotting equipment and rig-up of treating iron; lift up to 75 lbs. Complete accurate pre- and post-trip inspections and driver logbooks. Safely use nylon towing straps. Perform pre-job checks on nitrogen units including oil, coolant, belts, and fittings. Follow refueling procedures. Identify all fittings and rig in and rig out under supervision. Understand start-up procedures on all nitrogen units. Perform computer login, start-up, run, and data acquisition. Demonstrate full understanding of the nitrogen membrane system. Identify hazards and participate in safety meetings and FLHAs. Submit maintenance and field reports daily. Perform job duties according to standard operating procedures. Support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures. Train on operation of membrane nitrogen generating units according to manufacturer manuals. Assist with daily, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance schedules. Maintain equipment in a state of readiness for upcoming work. Document and report maintenance issues. Ensure spare parts, tools, lubricants, and required documents are available for project duration. Adhere to and enforce all HS&E policies and procedures. Generate hazard ID and near-miss reports. Conduct tailgate safety meetings. Ensure safety during rig-up, rig-down, and nitrogen pumping operations. Report unsafe conditions or hazards to HSE or VP of Operations. Attend monthly safety meetings. Perform pressure and volume calculations including kPa to psi and SCM to SCF conversions. Start compressor and booster engines safely. Identify gauges and controls in the control cab and monitor normal operating parameters. Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations. Communicate with supervisors to resolve conditions affecting safety or efficiency. Comply with all company and safety regulations.

Qualifications:



Valid Class 1 driver's license. Minimum 1-3 years oilfield driving experience. High School diploma. Knowledge of nitrogen pumping applications is an asset. Computer skills including Excel and Word. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid safety courses including Standard First Aid, H2S, PST, and TDG.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with nitrogen pumping operations or plant purging. Previous experience operating membrane nitrogen equipment.

Work Environment:



Field-based position in outdoor and varying weather conditions. Exposure to heavy equipment, high-pressure systems, and safety-sensitive environments. Requires ongoing adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
