Central New Brunswick Woodlands - JD Irving Ltd., is seeking a skilled and motivated Nighttime Lead Hand, based in Chipman, New Brunswick. This role is responsible for providing roadside and in-woods support for mobile equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

Provide roadside and in-woods support for mobile equipment, including log trucks, loaders, and other heavy machinery. Operate an equipped mobile service truck provided by the company. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to brakes, electrical systems, air systems, and hydraulics. Make timely decisions with little to no supervision. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely equipment mobilization. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work closely with supervisors to complete assigned tasks. Support onsite safety requirements and initiatives. Be available to work flexible hours to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * Proven experience managing equipment/people.
