Night Shift Addiction Support Worker
Reports To
Night Shift Team Lead
Summary
As an Addiction Support Worker at iRecover, you will contribute to the delivery of bed-based services to persons with chronic substance use disorders, promoting client respect, autonomy, health and improved quality of life. Night Shift Support Workers supervise and interact with these clients from diverse backgrounds, as well as fulfil various secondary responsibilities.
Duties
Supervise participants to ensure adherence to facility rules and regulations Offer emotional support as needed Report rule-breaking observed to the counsellors during morning shift change Conduct hourly rounds throughout the building Provide wake-up calls for participants Complete a shift summary Prepare continental breakfast Stock kitchenette

Requirements:
Experience working with vulnerable populations considered an asset Clean Driver's Abstract Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check Community Addiction and Mental Health Services Certification preferred
Shifts
Friday & Saturday overnight -
11:00pm - 9:00am
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 20 per week
