Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time Night Linehaul Shift Supervisor for our Linehaul division at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude.

Shift:

Overnight shift work.

Flexible schedule to accommodate vacation, sick times, etc.

Successful Candidate will possess the following:

• Education Required: Trade Certification or College Diploma in a related field would be an asset.
• Years of Experience Required:
• 5 years of dispatch transportation experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years management and or supervision experience required.
• Trained and familiar with terminal equipment, dangerous goods, and all transportation government regulations
• Daily Management experience an asset.
• Well organized and strong attention to detail
• Communication, organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications
• AS400 knowledge is an asset but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the dispatch operations on the evening shift, successful candidate must be flexible with their work hours to accommodate all shift coverage.
• Be a key contributor to the daily management team and lead the changes with the night/weekend team.
• Responsible for the supervision, training, development, and scheduling of Weekend Dispatch personnel
• Responsible for learning all personnel functions in order provide support.
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding evening dispatch goals
• Ensure company policies are adhered to which included operational and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure Superior Quality Service is provided to our external and internal customers while continuing to increase Employee Engagement on the weekend shift.
