About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced

Night Baker

to join our camp kitchen team at a remote mining camp in Bissett, Manitoba. Working in a high-volume environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring our crews start their day with fresh baked goods, hearty breakfasts, and quality grab-and-go lunches.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in early hours, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable living and working in a remote camp setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Bake fresh goods nightly, including bread, pastries, muffins, squares, etc. Prepare and package sandwiches, wraps, and other take-away lunch items. Cook and serve breakfast for camp staff (e.g., eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and baking areas. Follow all health and safety standards and food handling procedures. Work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a baker or breakfast cook (camp or commercial kitchen experience a plus) Ability to work 12-hour shifts, starting at 2:00 AM 2 Week on, 2 week off schedule Comfortable working in a remote and isolated location Valid Food Safe or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain) Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs A positive attitude and strong team ethic
