Job Overview

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours. This position involves balancing financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable handling front desk responsibilities while working independently during the night shift.

Duties

Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent guest services. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management. Operate phone systems efficiently, demonstrating strong phone etiquette to assist guests and staff. Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are clean and welcoming for guests. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic accounting principles is beneficial but not required. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $18.58-$20.22 per hour
