We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented

Night Auditor

to be the overnight ambassador of our hotel from 11:00pm to 7:30am. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, managing nightly reconciliations, and delivering exceptional guest service. You will help ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and tenants, perform front desk operations, and complete nightly reconciliations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, sound judgement, and a proactive mindset. With at least one year of experience in a similar role, they are an analytical problem-solver who takes pride in their work and goes the extra mile to support a first-class guest experience.

Some duties and responsibilities will include:



Delivering a high standard of guest service by greeting late-night arrivals, responding to guest inquiries, and arranging concierge-level services. Monitoring building access and conducting security checks to ensure the safety of guests, tenants, and the property overnight. Managing front desk operations during night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest payments. Answering incoming calls, addressing guest concerns, and communicating special requests to appropriate departments. Maintaining an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments. Completing nightly financial reconciliations, balancing credit card machines and cash drawers, and posting room charges and fees. Verifying and balancing charges to guest folios, master accounts, and house accounts. Following established emergency procedures and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. Compiling and distributing audit reports and ensuring revenue and expenses are properly recorded before morning turnover. Confirming scheduled wake-up calls and taxi bookings are accurately entered and fulfilled as part of morning duties.

What You Bring



Front desk or guest services experience in a hotel or hospitality setting (night shift experience is an asset). Familiarity with hotel operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, concierge-level service, and use of reservation systems. Solid understanding of financial procedures such as cash handling, night audit, and daily reconciliation. Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced overnight environment. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively while remaining open to feedback and continuous improvement. Knowledge of Vancouver, local attractions, and services.
