We are currently looking for a

Night Auditor/Overnight Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities

Reconcile front desk daily postings. Balance day's charges, making corrections as necessary. Verify all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments. Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts. Assist with the balancing of house accounts and credit cards. Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift. Process guest charges voucher. Monitor current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs. Track room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics. Prepare summary of cash, check, and credit card activities. Run end of day process in property management software (PMS). Prints and files reservations for the next business day. Assist as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures, and performs wake-up calls. Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed. Prepare late night room service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a night auditor or front desk agent. Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts. Ability to multitask and work under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledgeable of the greater Vancouver area and make suggestions about activities for guests. Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office and worked with Property Management System. Valid BC Drivers License Valid Food safe certificate
