The Role

The Night Auditor ensures the smooth, secure, and professional overnight operation of the hotel. This position blends hospitality with precision -- offering warm guest service while performing nightly accounting and preparing for the next day's operations.

As the primary overnight contact for guests, the Night Auditor creates a sense of calm, safety, and comfort -- maintaining the Claramount standard of care long after the sun sets.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly welcome and assist late-arriving guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Conduct nightly audit of daily transactions, balancing accounts and preparing financial reports for management. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and emergencies. Maintain security of the property and ensure all safety protocols are followed overnight. Prepare daily reports and communicate any guest concerns or operational issues to the morning team. Support early-morning setups and light cleaning as needed to ensure a polished start to each new day.
Qualifications

Previous front desk, accounting, or hotel night audit experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently. Experience with hotel property management systems is an asset. Detail-oriented with a calm and professional presence. Availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
