Night Auditors must have a detail orientated work style, and a positive personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
  • Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
  • Process invoices, post checks to vendors
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
  • Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
  • Must have Opera operating system knowledge
  • Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Help prepare for forecasts and audits
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous working experience with Opera computer system preferred
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing Sales or a related discipline is a strong asset
  • Previous experience in a customer service position
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • Strong communication skills between guests, management and co-workers
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking, organization, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, working in fast paced environment with strong attention to details
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
  • French not required
Schedule:
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
Experience:
  • accounting/bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
  • customer service: 2 years (required)
  • hotel front desk: 2 years (required)
Work Location: In person
