Night Auditors must have a detail orientated work style, and a positive personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Check in guests, answer phones and take reservations
Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
Process invoices, post checks to vendors
Reconcile accounts
Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
Must have Opera operating system knowledge
Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
Help prepare for forecasts and audits
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous working experience with Opera computer system preferred
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing Sales or a related discipline is a strong asset
Previous experience in a customer service position
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Exceptional computer skills
Strong communication skills between guests, management and co-workers
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability in multi-tasking, organization, working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, working in fast paced environment with strong attention to details
Exceptional conflict resolution skills in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers
