Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight shift. This position involves managing front desk responsibilities, handling guest inquiries, and performing accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs for guests. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift. Maintain a high level of customer service by providing assistance and information to guests. Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with guests and staff. Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are followed during the night shift. Prepare daily reports for management, summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key metrics. Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests. Familiarity with front desk operations, phone etiquette, and hotel management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining attention to detail.
