Job Description



This opportunity is for an Account Executive in Canada, on the rapidly growing next wave Cloud Service Provider team. The ideal candidate is passionate about enabling the next generation of innovative cloud based software, platform and infrastructure service providers at the core of Intel's Datacentric growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible, but not limited to:

  • Serve as the one-Intel customer-obsessed representative responsible for solving technology and business challenges using Intel technologies in a way that is favorable to both the customer and Intel objectives.
  • Establish credibility and be capable of building strong, direct relationships with senior business and technical customers.
  • Collaborate with the Industry Technical Specialist (ITS) counterpart and establish relationships with Business Units, Operations, and OxM partners is critical to success.
A successful candidate must demonstrate:
  • To be self-motivated, self-sufficient with the ability to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and issues
  • Comprehend Intel architecture and software enabling offerings in addition to partner solutions targeted at workload optimization on Intel products across on-premise, hybrid and public cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and data center technologies, Intel server products, industry server platforms, ingredients within the platforms (memory, IO, storage, networking), and their relationship to cloud solutions for end-customer usage and benefit.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to represent Intel in the industry as a 'business and technology evangelist' for our cloud service delivery strategy.
  • Being comfortable working at senior levels within Intel and within their customer and have demonstrated the willingness to identify and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.
  • Being capable of building strong, direct relationships with senior business and technical customers.
  • Being Hard driving, entrepreneurial and tenacious individual who is driven to be successful and brings creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Exceptional communication (including spoken and written English) business development and customer support skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills (with proven track record of cross-group collaboration)
  • Working knowledge of cloud data center architecture, applicable standards, and the operational processes
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native SaaS, PaaS and IaaS business models and key performance indicators
  • Working knowledge of service innovation and platform technology introduction and evolution processes
  • Working knowledge of fundamental networking and storage technologies.
  • Knowledge on IT or Cloud Data Centre infrastructure, including server and storage platforms, Virtualization and Operating systems.
  • Excellent internal presentation skills and the ability to understand, specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams.
  • Willingness to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results
  • Willingness to work effectively with eco-system partners
**This position is opened to be Hybrid or Fully Remote as a possibility **

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Computer Engineering , Electrical Engineering or any related field.
  • 3 + years of experience in data center cloud sales or business development experience
Preferred qualifications:
  • 6+years of experience related to one or more of the following areas: IT, Hardware, Software, Cloud, Communication Service Provider, or Telco Vendor Experience
  • Masters degree in Business or Tech/Engineering desirable.
