Entrek Engineering Ltd., a young and fast-growing engineering and design consulting firm for the energy industry, is seeking an New Grad Jr. Project Engineer. Role Overview



Join our team to work on a variety of challenging and innovative energy projects, ranging from conceptual studies to detailed process engineering, and supporting construction mgmt. of small to large scale energy projects dealing with the following.

Natural gas processing Hydrocarbon liquids processing Liquid and gas transmission systems Water treatment and management Refrigeration systems Energy transition and emissions reductions

Key Responsibilities:



Support Sr. and Intermediate team members in the execution technical engineering tasks including process simulation modeling, pipeline modeling, and equipment sizing calculations. Conduct equipment reviews, and size/specify new equipment Collaborate on project scoping, engineering studies, and project mgmt. Engage in field commissioning and troubleshooting, providing technical support and solutions. Prepare and review key project deliverables like Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control valve and instrument data sheets, and technical bid evaluations. Provide innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance project efficiency and quality. Work closely with project teams, vendors, and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred but not strictly required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and a history of participation in team endeavors (scholastic, charitable and recreational). Experience with the following software would be considered an asset: Bluebeam, AutoDesk Navisworks Freedom, AutoDesk DWG Viewer, Microsoft Office, VMG Symmetry, HYSIS, and PIPESIM.
