Looker Office Furniture is a locally owned and operated company located in Red Deer since 1962. We provide commercial furniture to businesses in and around Central Alberta. We carry many different manufacturer lines of furniture and specialize in customizing space plans to meet our customers' needs.

Summary



The role of a New Business Development Representative is vital in expanding our customer base and strengthening relationships with existing clients. We are seeking 2 motivated and competitive New Business Development Representatives to drive new B2B sales and build long terms client relationships. You will be at the forefront of our growth initiatives, helping us deliver tailored furniture solutions that meet our clients' unique needs.

One position will be based in RED DEER overseeing a Central Alberta Territory and the other position based out of CAMROSE or area and responsible to oversee communities in that area.

Responsibilities



Generate new business through outbound B2B sales calls Build and maintain strong client relationships Network within the community during and after work hours Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging opportunities and key decision makers Provide weekly reports summarizing outreach activities, client meetings, follow-ups, and business results Maintain accurate and up to date records of client interactions and progress using designated reporting tools Represent Looker Office Furniture at networking events, trade shows and business meetings to promote services and products Promote the Looker Office Brand, values and social impact initiatives to prospective partner and clients Travel throughout the assigned Looker Office Furniture geographical territory in Central Alberta as required to develop and sustain partnerships

Requirements



Willing to do outside B2B "hunter" sales Valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract and personal vehicle. Willing to travel as required. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development or client relations Strong written and verbal communication skills. This position is integral to our growth strategy and offers the chance to make a significant impact within our organization while advancing your professional career in business development self- motivated, organized and comfortable working independently and in a team .

Compensation



Base salary plus commission ( Range CA$50,000.00- CA$59000.00 per year ) Benefits program and car allowance Out- of -town coverage expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Looker Office Furniture travel policy

Pay: $50,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
