We are seeking a

New Business Development Representative, 3PL,

to join our team! Reporting to the

Director, Business Development,

you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new business for our logistics services, including warehousing and supply chain solutions. This role is hands-on and requires strong industry knowledge, sales acumen, and customer relationship management skills.

Role and Responsibilities



o New Business Development:


Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.

o Client Relationship Management:


Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

o Solution Selling:


Understand clients' logistics challenges and craft customized 3PL solutions, including warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.

o Sales Presentations & Proposals:


Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, RFP responses, and pricing proposals aligned with client needs and company capabilities.

o Market Research:


Stay informed on market trends, the competitive landscape, and potential opportunities to position the company as a preferred logistics provider.

o Collaboration with Operations:


Work closely with the operations and systems teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and successful service implementation.

o CRM & Reporting:


Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client communications in CRM software. Report on pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics regularly.

Requirements:



3-5 years of relevant experience Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry Strong understanding of 3PL services and supply chain operations Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers Self-motivated with a hunter mindset and a goal-oriented approach Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel as needed
