MOBIA is currently seeking a NetworkX Telecom Drawer to join our team. As a NetworkX Telecom Drawer you will be an integral part of a customer focused team, working with Fiber and Cooper network provisioning to draft telecommunications plans.

Key Responsibilities:
The NetworkX Telecom Drawer is responsible for:

• Reviewing CAD drawings from concept to final design, drawn to scale
• Working with the NetX program for FTTH and Cooper designs
• Import AutoCAD, TIF or other file formats and hard copy maps to create electronic base maps
• Prepare municipal consent or utility application drawings from concept to final design.
• Follow drawing standard procedures as set out by our customers
• Meet quality standards as outlined
• Training and supporting drafting technicians
• Meet scheduled deadlines
• Communicate updates with project manager / project coordinator
• Update as-built records / drawings from field
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications:

• 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience using NetX
• 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience using Bell SAP
• Experience reading / reviewing CAD drawing / work plans
• Experience in a telecommunications environment is an asset
• Post-Secondary Education Civil Engineering Technician, Architectural program is preferred
• Self-starter with high attention to detail
• Excellent time management, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills to interface with other departments
• Proactive problem solver with strong listening skills
• GCOMM experience would be considered an asset
