Metro Infrastructure\xe2\x80\x99s Telecom Design team is looking for an experienced \xe2\x80\x9cNetworkX\xe2\x80\x9d (Net-X) Draw person, to apply to our engineering department. Candidates would be responsible for Posting conduit, cable and equipment for various types of Projects into G-Designer (Network X). This position requires close interaction with designers, field services, project coordinator and client to ensure the timely and accurate completion of project cycles. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the direction of the Design Manager, post pre-designed projects and Asbuilts in Network X.
- Projects may include FTTH, Structures, Access Network Design, and FTTS.
- Provide support and training in Net-X and construction drawings.
- Quality Check As-built plans, providing feedback to the originator.
- Track, monitor, and report on assigned project milestones
- Complete projects in a timely manor to operate within budget
- Follow provided guidelines to ensure client design and construction standards are maintained.
- Work closely with Civil team & designers, to establish workable solutions.
- Perform other tasks as requested by your manager.
- 3 + Years Drawing in NetworkX (Net-X) is an asset
- 3 + Years working closely with a FTTH team
- Familiar with telecommunications Fibre design.
- Familiar with use of Multi-duct and splicing practices
- 4-6 Years Telecommunication experience is essential.
- Strong, communication, interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Capable of grasping new concepts easily.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to respond to changing priorities and handling multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in the English language, both written and oral
