Position Overview:
Compugen is seeking an experienced
Network & Security Specialist
to manage network projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations, including enforcing and maintaining network security policies. This role will focus on ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our enterprise network infrastructure. This is for an initial 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute network-related projects and initiatives across the organization.
Manage day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Develop, implement, and maintain network security policies and compliance standards.
Configure, monitor, and maintain core network technologies, including:

Palo Alto firewalls
+
Cisco networking solutions
+
Meraki wireless and security appliances
Collaborate with cloud teams to design and support
Azure
and
AWS networking
environments.
Perform network risk assessments and implement remediation strategies.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for network infrastructure.
Document network architecture, configurations, and security procedures.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams.

Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years
of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and security.
Strong expertise in
Palo Alto
,
Cisco
, and
Meraki
technologies.
Proven experience with
Azure
and
AWS networking
, including VPCs, VPNs, and security groups.
Solid understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
Experience with routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and best practices for network security.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as
CCNP
,
PCNSE
,
AWS Certified Advanced Networking
, or
Azure Network Engineer Associate
.
Experience with automation tools and scripting for network management.
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.
