Job Requirements

• Experience with engineering & deployment of software defined network segmentation through one of the following technologies is a benefit:

• VMware NSX-V/NSX-T
• Azure ASG/NSG
• Cisco ACI
• Cisco Tetration
• Guardicore Centra
• Illumio Adaptive Security Platform
• General and broad knowledge of operating systems and container technologies, databases, and application infrastructure.
• Experience with solutions architecture, engineering, and deployment of virtual network and application infrastructure is required
• Development and automation of network security policies via software defined labeling or tagging to reduce time and complexity spent deploying and troubleshooting infrastructure.
• Experience with VMWare ESX 6.x and 7.x infrastructure design & deployment is desired
• Experience with network security policy automation and integration with DevOps deployment and build pipelines is desired.
• Strong background in network protocols and designs, with specific experience with engineering and deployment of network next generation firewall solutions is desired.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
• Strong communication skills to explain technologies to a wide audience
• Proven ability to collaborate across a large organization to effectively realize outcomes
• Ability to take leadership on engineering design decisions, solve technical problems, and make improvements to our systems
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent experience is desired.

Job Details

The infrastructure Technology Solutions - Network Security team is responsible for the introduction and maintenance of network security solutions with the goal of strengthening our network security posture for our hosting platforms, applications, and customers. Specifically, this mandate is met via the introduction and management of network security products & solutions, creation of standards and specifications, and development of ongoing operational processes. The team collaborates closely with other business and technology teams on strategic initiatives, works closely with our risk management partners to align technology with TD & regulatory security requirements.
The candidate filling this role will be responsible to support the design, deployment, management, and operational readiness of TD\'s multi-cloud network zoning & micro-segmentation solutions, requiring in-depth understanding and experience with network segmentation technologies in multi-cloud environments.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to design and deliver scalable and automated networking and security solutions within an enterprise environment, working collaboratively with business partners, risk management organizations, and other operations & Infrastructure teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assess, engineer, and deliver scalable network security & micro-segmentation technologies and solutions to TD\'s hybrid cloud platforms
• Align with platform teams to design and build network security policy frameworks, design & build standards, labelling & tagging standards, etc.
• Work towards alignment and orchestration of network security solutions between hybrid cloud environment in private and public clouds
• Align with DevOps team to introduce improved automation capabilities for network security policy deployments
• Design and actualize business & operational processes for ongoing support of TD\'s public and private network security solutions
• Design automation integrations between TD\'s enterprise systems (ServiceNow, DDI, CI/CD pipelines) and network security platforms
• Align technology solutions against regulatory requirements & enterprise risk management policies
• Deliver additional network security designs and solutions to business and risk management partners
• Evaluate, validate, design and deploy new network security solutions, products, upgrades, and feature enhancements
• Create high- and low-level designs, build standards and technical specifications for new network security infrastructure
• Develop and publish support document & business processes for the operational lifecycle of delivered solutions
• Development and maintenance of up-to-date documentation of security systems, sub-systems, and other technology solutions
• Identify and actualize opportunities for improvement to the management and automation of network security solutions and their related business process
• Proactively engage and promote new technologies and ideas that can add value or reduce costs to each of TD\'s core businesses
