Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Design & Implementation

Plan, design, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Implement network segmentation, redundancy, and failover solutions.

Network Operations & Maintenance

Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime. Diagnose and resolve network faults, outages, and latency issues. Apply patches, updates, and security configurations.

Security & Compliance

Implement network security policies, firewalls, and access controls. Monitor for vulnerabilities, threats, and unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Documentation & Collaboration

Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration logs, and documentation. Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure and application needs. Assist with planning for capacity, scalability, and future upgrades.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). 2-5+ years of experience in network engineering or administration. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies. Familiarity with firewall technologies, VPNs, and network monitoring tools. Understanding of network security principles and best practices.

Pay: $59,569.89-$125,045.76 per year
