Overview

We are seeking a full time Senior Network Consultant to join our team for a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network & security architecture, implementation and support, with a focus on optimizing and enhancing our client's network systems. This role requires an analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure seamless network operations.

The resource needs to be

onsite

at any one of the following locations: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa.

Core Technologies

Fortinet SD-WAN FortiManager Zero Touch Deployment IPsec VPN Routing OSPF, BGP Next Gen Firewalls PaloAlto Azure Networking Aruba Central Wi-Fi and Switching Cloudflare Zero Trust

Required Skills

Strong background with FortiManager; specifically building and maintaining complex deployment templates for zero touch provisioning of FortiGates with SD-WAN Experience managing FortiGate SD-WAN (deployment, policies, load balancing, troubleshooting) Familiarity with BGP redistribution, including route maps and priorities Advanced network troubleshooting skills and familiarity with ticketing systems Understanding of NGFW concepts such as application profiles, SSL inspection, DNS filtering, etc. Ability to follow, maintain, and write network documentation Experience building manual IPsec VPN connections with third parties Basic knowledge of small-scale project management

Nice to have Skills

Familiarity with Azure networking (peering, UDRs, route server, etc) Familiarity with Zero Trust Networking (Zscaler, Cloudflare, or equivalent) Familiarity with Aruba switching and wireless as well as cloud management through Central

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
