We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and experienced individuals for upcoming opportunities in floating projects in Newfoundland and Labrador.

What will you be doing?

• Applying technical expertise in network and cyber security in the evaluation, design, implementation, and development of maintenance requirements for project infrastructure
• Establishing, mapping, and configuring the networking environment infrastructure in an offshore environment with responsibility for system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
• Providing oversight and support in design, configuration, management, and implementation of network environments, including Firewall, ISE, LAN, SD-WAN, etc.
• Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software
• Resolving and documenting solutions/blueprints for any network-related issues
• Implementing and maintaining security measures like firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus software.
• Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
• Analyzing problems, organizing investigations, and determining specific design criteria
• Assuring compliance with project schedule and control estimates
• Supporting and stewarding procurement activities for with responsibility for providing technical specifications, participation in technical bid evaluations, document reviews, and general technical support as required

We think you should have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Information Systems, or other related engineering discipline and registration with PEGNL as a P.Eng (preferred) or an EIT.
• Experience in a similar role within a Front End, FEED or EPC environment within the offshore energy industry
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• Experience building network infrastructure in a greenfield environment
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
