What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support and maintain the systems that keep our teams working smoothly. You'll be hands-on with day-to-day IT operations, helping support users, monitor systems, and improve our technical environment over time. You won't be expected to know everything on day one--what matters most is curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow into the role while working closely with the rest of the team.

Essentially, you will...

+ support and maintain our server environment, primarily Windows Server with Hyper-V, with some light Linux administration.

+ manage core services including file shares, storage, Wi-Fi, backups, and basic database backup and restore tasks.

+ support a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, access management, and troubleshooting.

+ provide day-to-day technical support for both Windows and macOS users.

+ monitor systems and respond to issues as they arise, escalating when appropriate.

+ assist with system updates, hardware refreshes, and incremental improvements to our environment.

+ troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues across multiple offices.

+ work closely with teammates to resolve issues and share knowledge.

+ support internal teams, including assisting development teams when infrastructure or deployment support is needed.

Education And Experience

+ Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related technology field, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 3-5 years of relevant IT, systems, or infrastructure support experience (flexible depending on depth and scope)

It's considered a bonus if you have...

+ Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent experience).

+ CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+).

+ ITIL or other service management training.
